Library books overdue |
Library Hold: Library users are responsible for returning borrowed materials on time and for paying a charge for lost or severely damaged materials. Circulating materials are considered overdue when not returned by the due date. Failure to meet these obligations will result in a “hold” on student transcripts and borrowing privileges. A library “hold” can be removed when overdue library materials are returned and/or all charges are paid. Library users that do not comply with or violate the College of Alameda Student Code of Conduct, or Library rules and regulations may be subject to disciplinary action and/or loss of library privileges. To clear this hold, you must contact the Library at the campus indicated on your hold. |

Academic Standing-Dismissal: A student on Academic Probation shall be subject to dismissal if the student earned a cumulative grade-point average of less than 1.75 in all units attempted in each of three consecutive semesters. Appeals of dismissal and requests for reinstatement are handled by the Vice President of Student Services. Circumstances that might warrant exceptions to the standards for dismissal should be referred to the Vice President for evaluation. |
