Peralta News – Pathway Press Conference at Berkeley City College

24 November 2014

The City of Berkeley and Berkeley City College joined forces to create a college-going culture in the city’s public schools. The partnership, called Pathways, with help from students of the ambassador program at Berkeley City College is designed to educate and support students from the city’s middle and high schools on what it takes to get them college and career ready.

The Berkeley City College Student Ambassador Program is made up of students who are selected from a diverse pool of applicants to represent the college’s diverse community. The program is an extension of the Admissions and Records department. The focus is to support new and continuing students through the enrollment process into the Peralta College system, and provide educational out-reach services to local high schools, middle schools, and community partners.
