• When you board the bus, tag your card to the card reader as usual.
If the card works, your pass has been loaded. 
If the card does not work, show your Clipper Card (with photo ID) to the operator
• Once confirmed, the operator will let you board
• You may also go to the AC Transit Ticket Office to manually activate the your pass immediately by inserting it into one of the AVM machines at the far end of the office.

AC Transit will have staff there to assist students. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. (1600 Franklin Street in downtown Oakland)



Clipper Cards should be reactivated in 3-4 days, From January 31st.

The first Board of Trustees meeting of this year featured a positive report of our financial statements from an independent auditor. The Board also voted to put a $48 parcel tax on the ballot for the June election to help offset devastating cuts to our State funding. And Vice Chancellor Jacob Ng announces new systems for Financial Aid.

Peralta News went to both Merritt College and College of Alameda on the first day of the spring semester. The energy of the students was exciting to behold. Everybody, whether it was their first semester or their last had insightful things to say about their Peralta colleges experience.

PTVSports is still the Peralta Community Colleges Authority and in this segment, sports reporter Lex Gopnik travels through the Posey Tube for a look into Cougars Basketball 2012.
