A Short Cookbook with High-Nutrient, Fast, Low-Cost Meals for Students
Ms. Thadani, District Director of Peralta Student Health Services was inspired to create a cookbook due to many years of teaching health and wellness courses. Meghan Moriarty, Peralta Health Intern for Laney College wrote & designed the cookbook, which provides 7 meal recipes and 4 snack recipes. The cookbook is meant to inspire students to take power over their health through cooking for themselves. With the student lifestyle in consideration, recipes encourage students to reap the most nutritional value of natural foods while conserving time and the pocketbook.
