Success
Success Rates are percentages of students who do well in class (C or better).
There are many factors that influence success rates, such as difficulty of subject, student preparedness, instructor grading, learning outcomes, and so on. Although some of these factors are difficult to isolate, success rates provide a valuable method of comparing programs and student populations.
Withdraws from class affect success rates, so it is useful to look at withdraw rates along with success rates.
The following reports provide success rates and withdraw rates at Peralta colleges.
There is also a report showing fall 08, fall 09 and fall 10 cumulative GPA percentages for each college and a report that shows student Persistence at maintaining enrollment from 2009 forward .
