H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Update

As flu season approaches, the Peralta Office of Risk Management and the Health Services Nurses at College of Alameda Merritt College and Laney College want to provide students, staff and faculty with helpful information on preventing the spread of the influenza and protecting oneself from getting the flu. If you attend a class with flu-like symptoms, such as coughing and sneezing, you may be requested to leave the class in order to protect the health and safety of others.

For information on H1N1 and Seasonal Flu:

Check the Peralta District and/or the college’s homepage frequently for updates on Peralta’s response to H1N1 and Seasonal Flu on campus.

You can also check your College Health Services webpage under “Student Services” for updated information on preventing and dealing with the flu and links to other useful sites.

Thank you for your assistance to help protect yourself and fellow students, faculty and staff of the Peralta Community College District.
