  • Faculty Column Advancement Requests for lower division classes must be submitted to the SDO. Column advancement transcripts must be submitted to HR by the 4th week of the term (if you want it to apply to that term).
  • Faculty Evaluations — please be sure to finish up your paperwork!

Things to look forward to from the Staff Development Office in Spring 2019:

  • Beta-testing a form where full-time/contract faculty will report how they meet their professional development obligations
  • Piloting Focused Inquiry Groups  (see the proposal for funding here: Piloting Inquiries and CoPs in Peralta)
  • Improvements to the SDO website and Canvas shell (make suggestions by emailing staffdevelopmentofficer@peralta.edu)
  • More connection with the Benefits office
  • A professional development day for district classified professionals
