Welcome to PeopleSoft version 9.2

17 February 2021

Dear Peralta Community,

PeopleSoft version 9.2 is now live!

Many thanks to the IT team and everyone else who worked over the long holiday weekend to get the system upgraded.

There are some changes you need to know about the new system.

The names of the tools and the URLs have changed, while the functions and workflows remain the same for now.

PeopleSoft version 9.2 is mobile-ready and you’ll be able to use your phones to complete tasks now.

Redirects have been set up from the old system URLs to the new URLs, going either directly to the new tools or to landing pages for Students and Employees

Of course your email, Canvas, Microsoft tools and more remain available via the Peralta Portal here: https://web.peralta.edu/portal/

The other tools that were not available during the upgrade, like ePAF, Power BI reports, and Oracle BI system reports, are now available again.

Note that the Institutional Research BI tools are served from an Institutional Research data warehouse, not the live PeopleSoft 9.2 database. The IR data warehouse is populated from the PeopleSoft database via a daily feed that runs at midnight. Therefore the IR data warehouse used for Microsoft Power BI and Oracle BI reports contain data as of February 9th, the last full day before the cutover.
