At the January 26, 2016 meeting of the Peralta Colleges Board of Trustees, Chancellor Laguerre announced a new partnership with “K to College” to provide resources to our students in need. The Board received a positive report from the external auditor. And the Pirelli Group provided an Information Technology assessment.
The Peralta Colleges Board of Trustees meet the second and forth Tuesday of every month. All meetings are open to the Public, and are broadcast LIVE on peraltaTV and KGPC, 96.9 fm. Past meetings are available for viewing here.

Laney College student Kevin Sosa describes the TRiO program, one of the many Learning Communities throughout the District available to support students. Peralta Matters – One-Stop Career Center at College of Alameda

Based on the success of the One-Stop Career Center at the College of Alameda, the Peralta Colleges have opened a second One Stop Career Center at the Berkeley Adult School!
This month, we are joined by Kunda Musambacine, who has been taking advantage of the services offered at the One-Stop Career Center at the College of Alameda as he seeks a new job. Mia Taylor, the career counselor at the new One-Stop Career Center in Berkeley, describes the services offered to all members of our community. And Michael Goldberg, Peralta Director of Workforce Systems, defines the goals and strategies employed at both Centers.
