College of Alameda was removed from “probation” Laney College’s sanctions were reduced to one “warning,” the lowest level of ACCJC sanction. Merritt College was removed from “probation” and also reduced to one “warning” sanction.
“The accreditation teams at all of the Peralta Colleges worked hard to address the ACCJC’s recommendations,” said Chancellor Jowel C. I am confident that all of our Colleges will continue to meet these high standards.”
“Thousands of students graduate with community college degrees and occupational certificates every semester from the Peralta Colleges. We continue to provide affordable, quality education,” Chancellor Laguerre added.
