Every year, the City of Oakland hosts America’s Children’s Holiday Parade on the first Saturday in December, and along with that tradition Peralta TV produces the event for broadcast locally, nationwide and around the world.
This fun-filled, annual parade is a delight to children of all ages who enjoy seeing many of their favorite PBS characters come to life, watching giant balloons floating by, singing along with the one-and-only, Bay Area’s own Dancing Christmas Trees, and of course, seeing Santa!
This year, Peralta TV’s production of America’s Children’s Holiday Parade will be broadcast on over 160 PBS stations across the U.S., as well as overseas on the American Armed Forces Network.
Peralta TV will also be broadcasting the parade throughout December as follows: 12/12 at 5pm, 12/16 at 11:30am, 12/21 at 1pm, 12/25 at 1pm, 12/26 at 1am, 12/29 at 11am and 12/30 at 3pm on Comcast Cable Channels 27 and 28 and U-Verse Channel 99.
Additionally, the parade can be viewed on Peralta TV’s YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/peraltatv, beginning next week.
