The June 24 meeting of the Peralta Community College District Board of Trustees began with inspirational words by Classified Senate President James Blake. Trustee Handy reported on the White House Summit on Educational Excellence for African Americans hosted by Laney College. Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology Calvin Madlock proposed a series of workshops on the current state and future of our Information Technology. And Interim Vice Chancellor for Finance Susan Rinne outlined minor changes to the proposed 2014-15 budget reflecting the recently passed State budget.
