It’s the year of the Horse and we found no better way to celebrate the Lunar New Year than on the quad, Laney style! There was food, performances, traditional calligraphy and even a tai chi lesson.
Chinese New Year is a time of feasting with family, celebration, fireworks and gift-giving. It is a holiday that spans over the course of a few days, beginning on the first day of a new moon and ending with the full moon on the day of the Lantern Festival. The horse is part of a 12-year-cycle of animals that make up the Chinese zodiac.
