The Associated Students of Merritt College Horticulture Club is hosting its bi-annual plant sale on Oct. 11 and 12, Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. & Sunday, 12 noon – 3 p.m. The plant sale includes a wide variety of edible perennial and annuals, heirloom vegetables, Mediterranean, drought-tolerant plants, and much more. On Saturday there will be plant and landscape design information experts on hand, live music, delicious organic locavore lunches for sale, tours, demonstrations, and “Salvation Garden” tools, books and whatnot sale table. They will have plenty of plants and people to answer your questions on Sunday, too. Cash or checks only, as they are not equipped for credit/debit cards.
