‘The Peralta Colleges are ‘Peralta Proud’ of the Laney College Eagles Football Team for a successful 2016 Season. The Eagles finished the season last weekend with an impressive 49-35 win over rival CCSF in the SFCC Bowl and an overall record of 9 wins with only 2 losses. Athletic Director and Head Coach John Beam, gave us an exclusive peek into the Laney student-athletes preparation for this game with U.S. Senator Cory Booker. This week in Peralta Colleges Sports. We are up on the hill at Merritt College as the Thunderbirds hosted the Marin Mariners. Then down on the deck of the Laney College Pool as the Eagles took on the Ohlone College Renegades in an afternoon game of Water Polo. Capped off by an early evening of Peralta Colleges Volleyball. College of Alameda vs Napa Valley College Storm and the Laney Eagles vs Yuba College 49ers. All the action right here on the Peralta Community Colleges Sports Authority…PTVSports!

Laney College Women’s Basketball & Baseball

The Laney College women’s basketball team defeated Mendocino College 72-34 on Feb. 17 at Laney to win the Bay Valley Conference championship.
The Eagles (24-6) are seeded ninth in the Northern California Regionals and play AT No. 8 Consumnes River in Sacramento on Friday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
The Laney College baseball team plays host to Skyline College of San Bruno TODAY at 2 p.m. The Eagles are 6-2 while the Trojans (0-7) are ranked No. 20 in Northern California. The Eagles are not ranked. Go figure.
