The Merritt College Thunderbirds are back on the field with PTVSports for more soccer on the hill. Coach Zach Sullivan has a great young group of student-athletes ready to compete in the Bay Valley Conference. Stay tuned in to PTVSports for all of the Peralta Colleges sports.

Our Team has made the Final Four and will travel to the 2013 State Championship Tournament at Cosumnes River College, 8401 Center Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823. Merritt will play Mt. San Antonio, Friday, March 15, 2013, 5:00 p.m.
The winner of this game will play for the State Championship on Sunday, March 17, 2013, 7:00 p.m. The Team has worked very hard to get this far. Several staff members have demonstrated their support for these athletes by attending their games. We cordially invite you to support and attend the State Championship Tournament in Sacramento. Go Merritt Thunderbirds!

The Fall 2012 Season comes to a close for the Peralta Colleges sports programs and the PTVSports Report has the action for you. The Merritt College Thunderbirds Soccer Club played their last home game of the year against the Comets of Contra Costa College…and the Laney College Eagles Football Team hosted the Reedley College Tigers in their quest for a bowl game. This week in Peralta Colleges Sports. We are up on the hill at Merritt College as the Thunderbirds hosted the Marin Mariners. Then down on the deck of the Laney College Pool as the Eagles took on the Ohlone College Renegades in an afternoon game of Water Polo. Capped off by an early evening of Peralta Colleges Volleyball. College of Alameda vs Napa Valley College Storm and the Laney Eagles vs Yuba College 49ers. All the action right here on the Peralta Community Colleges Sports Authority…PTVSports!

Then down on the deck of the Laney College Pool as the Eagles took on the West Valley Vikings in an afternoon game of Water Polo. Capped off by an early evening of Peralta Colleges Volleyball. The Peralta Colleges Sports Authority took a trip back up on the hill to visit with the Merritt College Thunderbirds Men’s Basketball Team and head coach Keenan McMiller. As the 2011-12 Bay Valley Conference season comes to a close, we get some philosophy breakdown and a look at some player moving on to the next level in their college careers.
