District Financial Aid

The Peralta Community College District Financial Aid Office serves as the district hub for technical processing of all student aid; from system set up to disbursement, providing support to our four college based financial aid office operations.

Staffing and Support Updates

 

  • District Financial Aid Staff (final stage of hiring – reference checks in progress)
  • EdgeRock Technology Partners are currently bridging operational gap
  • Expanded IT support (recruitment in progress)
  • Self-Initiated program review currently in progress to assess end to end financial aid support (including finance staff)

Technology Updates

 

  • Daily Financial Aid Processing Meetings with IT and EdgeRock Technology Partners
  • Weekly Financial Aid Director meetings
  • COD reconciliation workgroups – These groups are critical to reconciliation efforts, as they have help to reconcile (with COD acceptance over half of unreconciled items estimated at $750K)
  • Financial Aid leadership needs assessments (will begin soon) – This workgroup will join forces with dedicated IT support, EdgeRock Technology Partners and District Financial Aid Staff to focus on efficient tools for proactive administration and monitoring financial aid to Peralta students.
