As you may know, the Peralta Colleges have cancelled classes the remainder of the week and Spring Break has been moved to next week. This means that there are no classes until Monday March 23rd.

When classes resume, most will be delivered online with some exceptions. It is my understanding that your teachers will communicate this to you directly and that information will be more readily available as soon as possible. Please be sure to check your student emails during the next week for these and other important updates.

Traveling:

If you are considering departing the country at any time during in the upcoming months, we encourage you to review CDC Travel GuidanceCBP, and Department of State, and meet with your DSO before departing the country during the semester or during summer break. There are many travel restrictions in place – including many countries in Europe.

Our office understands that there may be circumstances where you must depart the country and we are always here to support you.

If you have employment that is interrupted due to COVID-19, please communicate with the DSO that authorized your employment.

Our thoughts are also with each of you. We hope that all of you take precautions to remain healthy and get treatment when needed. We are also thinking of all of your families local and international that are being impacted by this. We understand that this may create hardships and uncertainty in times ahead.
