My name is Daisy and I am from Brazil. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and I have 5 years of experience working at a hospital in pediatrics. I am currently enrolled in the Paralegal program because I always liked to read and learn about laws ever since I was a child, but because I come from a family of medical professionals, I ended up following their footsteps and went into the medical field upon graduating from college. After working for 5 years as a nurse, I decided to go back to school to follow my dream and become a paralegal and maybe in the future, go to the law school and become an attorney. Since Unites States is world renown for having the best education system in the world, I decided to come here to realize my dream and study in the law field. Something I consider interesting about myself is I can speak four languages since I learned Portuguese in Brazil, Italian in my family home, Spanish when I used to live in Chile during an internship, and English since I moved to the United States. Lastly, I did an overseas internship in France, so I can speak minimal French. I am really happy about the possibility of having the option of two career paths since I am really passionate about helping people as a nurse, but I also want to work in the law field as well. Being able to study here in the United States is a wonderful experience because I can have one of the best educations in the world, while also enjoy living in a country that has a lot of interesting cultures!
