About Payroll
The Payroll Service team acts as a liaison to the District Community, as well as, to the Federal, State and Local authorities. Our principal goal is to provide excellent service to the Peralta community by processing payroll accurately and on time.
Some of the other services we provide:
- Monitor and implement payroll tax law changes.
- Work closely with other departments within the district to process employee changes and satisfy audit requirements.
- Process mandated deductions and tax withholdings.
- Process check & direct deposit distributions and create annual W2 tax forms.
- Maintain employee payroll records.
- Work directly with Third Party Administrators such as PERS, STRS, Mid-America, TSA, unions etc.
